Do you want motivated, high quality riders for your Advertising Campaign or Special Event? Our members are ready to ride. We track the hours they work and they are given ratings by their passengers. We will only send the best riders in each market, and more importantly, we will pay them what they deserve. In many cases, the pedicab companies are taking upwards of 75% of the contracted hourly rate. These events should be highly paid for the riders, knowing they're required to provide a premium service. We want the riders to be excited about riding in them and determined to deliver a great experience for your client. As it stands now, the hourly rates offered are so low, the pedicab companies will take any rider they can get, because the best riders refuse to do them.. This approach is doing a disservice to both you and your clients. Well, not anymore. Through our other arm, USAPedicabbers.org, we offer training, tips, and advice to ensure that each of our members is a quality pedicabber. Our aim is to provide: * better maintained bikes to increase safety for passengers * better training for riders to ensure a consistent level of service across the entire industry * better treatment from pedicab companies for riders with regards to bike rental fees * better results for companies who advertise on pedicabs and pedicab riders via t-shirts, caps, etc. So what's the solution? As the equipment owner, the pedicab company is entitled to the advertising wrap revenue only.
Your clients pay top dollar per hour for each rider, so we propose to separate the two: You contract with us for the riders and with the pedicab company for the bikes/wraps. The riders will be from different companies in some cases, but that's what is required to get the very best riders out there riding for your client. We will ensure they complete any additional background checks if required, and you will be able to see their average weekly riding time and average rating per ride. 100% transparency, and the metric data you need right there in black and white. * Images courtesy of Fabian Lewkowicz Photography |
